| | Lisa Mears is a professional musician based in Swansea, Wales. As a composer, Lisa's music has been performed and broadcast around the UK. In 2004 some of Lisa's works were Highly Commended by SPNM and in 2006 one of Lisa's compositions was the winning entry in the BSO Kokoro Ensemble Composition Competition. In 2012 Lisa was a shortlisted composer in the Cornwall International Festival of Male Voice Choirs Composition Competition and a finalist in the Small Choirs Composing Competition, London. | | A brilliant born artiste TABLA virtuoso from Delhi Gharana young & Dynamic Yuva Ratna DEEPAK MEHTA (28.05.1982) does not belong to a family of musicians. Initially trained under his own God Gifted Talent spotted by his class teacher at the age of six. Since then his natural music birth started from percussion instrument “BONGO” followed by “CONGO” which in due course of time and that’s too without learning from anybody played in All India Radio, Doordarshan and accompanied with the music groups of Bhappi Lahari, Narinder Chanchal, Prem Bhatia & Party and many more and started earning fame and laurels by coverages in print and electronic medias including his story at the age of 12 was covered and telecast at that time by the famous TV serial “SURABHI” Episode No.127 in 1994. Finally shifted to the more demanding discipline of Hindustani Classical Instrumental music “TABLA” on the landmark advice of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Sarod Legend on 28.03.1991. Being the disciple of World renowned Gurus Late Ustad Chhamma Khan of Delhi Gharana followed by his son Padamshree Late Ustad Shafaat Ahmed Khan become the powerhouse performer of TABLA. His electrifying performance always captivate audience whether in the United State of America other countries or Motherland INDIA. His gurus were essentially a maestro of the Delhi gharana of tabla-rhythm. But their repertoire was very rich, comprising typical compositions of almost every major gharana. That is why Deepak is also very well equipped with the different idioms of Hindustani rhythm, though his emphasis continues be to on all the Sylabbles of Delhi gharana. Deepak is also the spiritual disciple of H.D.H. Param Pujya Sant Shri Asaram Bapuji Maharaj of Ahmedabad. Outstanding features of Deepak’s own natural & innovative style of compact solo tabla playing with commendable awareness of rhythm as he does not play on the tabla, he lives it which keeps the audience spellbound. He is on the empanelment of ICCR and remained 8 years Scholarship holder of Tabla from CCRT (Govt. of India). He has performed at Govt. Of India National as well as state level namely., the “HORIZON” series of ICCR, “JHANKAR FESTIVAL” & 12TH “ YUVA MAHOTSAV” of Sahitya Kala Parishad , “SANGEET PRATIBHA” of Sangeet Natak Akademi etc., and judged the state level instrumental competitions organized by Nehru Bal Samiti. I also play in a band with the not-fixed name Som Livre (Free Sound), that playes progressive rock. the band hasme at the keyboards, Djalma at acoustic guitars/el. guitars/vocals and Ivan at Drums/Percussion. We are in the start, but got 3 complete musics. One of them is Divino Cavaleiro (Divine Knight) by Djalma, and arranjed by the group. The duration is 9:30.

| | Piano diploma obtained on September 19th 1989 at the Conservatorio di Musica F. A. Bonporti of Trento, in Italy. Since 1990 working as a private piano teacher with external collaborations as piano accompanist for exhibitions and examinations of pupils of the class of Prof. Fulvio Hrvatich, violin teacher in the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Tartini of Trieste. Since October 2002 part time collaboration as peripatetic teacher of harmony for the Accademia musicale “Ars Nova” in Trieste.
Having started my piano studies with Prof. Buzzai at the age of four, I lived a very successful musical childhood, earning many prizes and awards. During teen-age family problems let me dedicate myself just to the fulfilment of my career, letting aside competitions and exhibitions. At about 16 I started being attracted by composition and wrote my very first pieces. On September 19th 1989 I eventually finished my piano career, obtaining the piano diploma as external at Bonporti Conservatory in Trento, Italy. Meanwhile I started again to take part to competitions with some success, especially in two pianos or four hands duo, thing that moved me toward chamber music. Since 1990 I have been dedicating myself to private teaching and since 1992 I have been collaborating with prof. Hrvatic’s violin pupils as accompanist at the piano to examinations and exhibitions at the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. For some years I tried to create some chamber music ensemble, but unfortunately my attempts proved unsuccessful since the poor occasions offered by Italian music environment moved all my partners toward different professional careers. The rest of ‘90s had been rather quiescent and dominated by depression, with many diseases and deaths among relatives and parents. All through these years I dedicated myself mainly to private teaching, integrating my income with different occasional activities, mainly music or computer related. In fact during these years I learnt a lot about computers and got fascinated by the chances they offer, especially in the artistic field. Eventually emerging from my spleen with new millennium and stimulated by travels, new contacts and a happy marriage, my composing vein started burning again, and I am now quite prolific. In 2001 and recently this year I took part as composer to the Festival Kugy, in Trieste, I saw two sacred hymns of mine, written for the 4th Diocesan Eucharistic Congress, published by Perugia’s “Istituto Musicale Girolamo Frescobaldi”, and I am participating to many competitions, playing my chances in order to start a nowadays hard (especially in Italy) music career as a composer.

| | Jeffrey Moellman, a native of Independence, Kentucky, is a sophomore Organ Performance major at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Todd Wilson. Beginning piano lessons at age 5, he continued his study, after three years, at the Preparatory Department of the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. Accompanying his church's choir led to an interest in the organ at a young age. Continuing throughout high school, he played for weekly masses both at church and school, and worked with his high school chorus for special occasions such as bi-yearly Latin Masses and competitions.
In August 2000, Jeffrey took on the position of Intern in Music at Cleveland's Church of the Covenant (Presbyterian, USA). In addition to his role at Church of the Covenant, he has participated in performances of Holst's The Planets with the CIM Orchestra, choral works of Benjamin Britten with the University Circle Chorale, including the cantata St. Nicholas, Vivaldi's Gloria at Fairmount Presbyterian Church and two premieres of CIM student compositions.
Before arriving in Cleveland, Jeffrey had held organist positions at Alexandria (KY) United Methodist Church as well as St. Cecilia, St. Agnes, and St. Philip Catholic Churches. Besides permanent positions, he has been highly utilized in substitute and interim roles as organist, pianist and ensemble coordinator for many local churches in the Northern Kentucky area. Aside from his work in the church, Jeffrey has performed with the Northern Kentucky Symphony Orchestra in performances of Respighi's Feste Romane and at numerous high schools in performances of a number of musicals. Additionally, Jeffrey has sung with the Chlesean Singers of Thomas More College (Crestview Hills, KY) and the Bishop's Choir of St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption (Covington, KY) under the direction of Robert J. Schaffer during the Easter and Christmas seasons, in concert and on a July 1998 tour of Canada.
Upcoming musical engagements include playing continuo in March birthday celebration performances of J. S. Bach's Cantatas 80 & 82 along with the Church of the Covenant Choir and chamber orchestra. In addition, Jeffrey will accompany the University Circle Chorale in March concert performances of various American spirituals and folk songs and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy and Elegischer Gesang (Op. 118). Additionally, Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Thomas More College (Crestview Hills, KY).

| | Anna Ouspenskaya was born in Yaroslavle, Russia, into a family of professional musicians. Her father was a Principal conductor of Yaroslavl Philharmonic Simphony Orchestra, and her mother was a violinist at the same orchestra. Anna started her piano study at the age of six and a half. At the age of seven and a half she made her debut with the Yaroslavl Philharmonic playing Haydn's Piano Concerto in D Major. Entering her 5th grade Anna was accepted to the Moscow Conservatory Central Music school for Gifted Children, where she started studying with reknown Dr. Levin. She won several local competitions and honor scholarships as well as was for many years admitted into concertizing group of students who traveled throughout Russia playing solo and orchestral performances. She performed with such known conductors as Barsov, Ponkin, Golovchin, Niazy, and Yakovlev in both Russian capitals, Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as many of former Soviet Republics.
In 1989 Ms. Ouspenskaya was accepted to the St. Petersburg Conservatory where she earned her Masters degree. In 1991 she made her first trip to the United States, winning Second Prize in the Bach International Piano Competition in Washington, DC. Since that year Anna was coming to US every year to perform and give master classes which took her to 18 states. In 1993 Ms. Ouspenskaya was a finalist at the Bach International Piano Competition in Germany. She made her first CD in 1995 with Altarus records, and her second is on its way on Ramsey records due for release this summer. Both CDs represent Russian music: the 1st of Rodion Shchedrin and the 2nd of Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky.
From 1996 to 1998 Anna Ouspenskaya lived and worked in Luxembourg at Dudelange Conservatory, also giving performances in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Scotland.
In 1998 Ms. Ouspenskaya moved to the United States. She is currently residing in Reston, Virginia, teaching at the Levine School of Music, pusruing a Doctorate at the Catholic University of America and concertizing in this area as well as other states and cities. She recently debuted with the Einstein Symphony Orchestra in New York City, performing the Saint-Saens Fourth Piano Concerto with Stephen Moshman conducting, and made her Kennedy Center debut in February 2002.

| | - Short Biography - Italian born in Aversa (Caserta), started to study music since he was 3 years old. After his coming to Northern Italy, he continued his musical studies as pianist at the "Conservatorio G. Verdi" in Milan, under the guide of Alberto Colombo. After graduation, prosecuted his studies with the famous russian pianist Lazar Berman.
- Recitals and Competitions - Mario Parrella did give many Recitals for the most important Musical Associations in Italy and abroad. Winner of many International Piano Competitions in 1995 started to study Conducting, and made his debut with the Jupiter Ensemble in 1999 giving recitals dedicated to A. Corelli, G.F.Haendel and J. S. Bach. Actually Mario Parrella is the Musical and Artistic Principal of the "Coro Lirico Bresciano".
- Conducting and Opera - Mario Parrella won in 1995 a International Competition for Assistent at the "Teatro alla Scala" of Milan and there started to study Analisis with Salvatore Sciarrino and Conducting under the guide of Armando Gatto. At the "La Scala" he took part to the staging and performance of many spectacles of the Opera's season. He worked with the most famous guest Conductors of the Theatre and with Riccardo Muti, the Principal Conductor at "La Scala".

| | The Ukes is a British Ukrainian band formed by Stepan Pasicznyk formerly of Wedding Present spin off The Ukrainians. It plays traditional Ukrainian music, in a folk rock style, and also traditional style Ukrainian dance "Zabava" music. Concert appearances to date have been in the UK, Canada, France, and Germany.
As well as having recorded more traditional Ukrainian music and original songs about Ukraine in Ukrainian and English since leaving The Ukrainians, Stepan Pasicznyk also works as a session musician, having recorded on projects produced by Justin Sullivan of New Model Army, Phil Manzanera, guitarist of Roxy Music, and "Swill" Odgers of British Punk/Folk Group The Men They Couldn't Hang 's latest release "Elvis Lives Here" with his "Swagger Band". He sessioned on the last release by Ukrainian American duet Darka and Slavko before they parted company.
Other previous Ukrainian musical activity included playing accordion for Reading based Traditional Dance ensemble Metelyk and a year with Ukrainian male voice choir Bulava. He plays with UK Waltham Cross based Ukrainian Dance and general function band Zhnyva. He has translated songs from Ukrainian into English for Ukrainian artist Lessia Horova, and recorded an English version of Razom Nas Bahato, Ukraine's Orange Revolution anthem by Greenjolly. Some of his other musical and media exploits include incidental music for BBC TV's Soccer enthusiasts show Row Z, preparing musical arrangement for a London Theatre production "Husbands and Lovers" by Hungarian playwright Ferenc Molnar, and recording introductory music for Canadian British Columbia longest running Ukrainian radio show, Nash Holos.

Taken part in the opera by Puccini La Boheme while studying for my BA degree. Accompanied on the piano choirs and a soprano in my home country Have created and conducted a children's choir named Caroline's Carols who performed this Christmas.

| | Praised for her “outstanding musical talent,” conservatory-trained harpist Anastasia (“Anna”) Pike has been delighting audiences including European royalty, senators, congressmen, legislators, and celebrities for years. She has performed on national television and in venues including Baltimore’s Lyric Opera House, Boston’s Jordan Hall, and New York’s Lincoln Center. She has also performed with members of the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Bergen Symphony (Norway), the City of London Sinfonia, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the English Philharmonic, Europa Galante, the London Mozart Players, L’Orchestra des Champs Elysees, and the Metropolitan Opera.
In addition to her career as a concert harpist, Anna is also an award-winning pianist, and maintains a private studio of both piano and harp students. Anna has 4 degrees in music, and has studied at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University, the University of Maryland School of Music, the Juilliard School, the MasterWorks Festival - London, and upon personal invitation to the Salzedo School. Her primary instructors were the late Grammy award-winning Cleveland Orchestra principal harpist Alice Chalifoux and former National Symphony Orchestra harpist Jeanne Chalifoux.
As a musicologist, Anna has conducted research from Maine to India, and has interviewed artists including Pierre Boulez, Alice Chalifoux, Evgeny Kissin, and Leonard Slatkin. She has written for the American Harp Journal, Salem Press, and U25. Anna divides her time between New York City and Washington, D.C./Baltimore, and teaches at Columbia University. She performs on a mahogany Lyon and Healy Concert Grand harp.
