Ella Spira is a British film score composer based in London. Trained as a classical pianist also trained in Palestrina Harmony and Counterpoint, Orchestral conducting but having a history of working for BBC Radio, Ministry Of Sound and Kidology Records she has worked with all styles of music. This is represented in the projects she has scored for. Ella recently scored an award nominated animation.

Born 1939 in Yorkshire, England; studied Guildhall School of Music, London; Venice, Italy and Warsaw, Poland with with Edmund Rubbra, Gianfrancesco Malipiero and Witold Lutoslawski; conducting with Lawrence Leonard and Norman del Mar.

Professor of Composition, Guildhall School of Music, London from 1967 to 1980; then director of music at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds, UK until retirement 1993. Currently freelance composer, conductor,writer, music journalist.

Recent composition awards include the 1989 City of Geneva 'Ernst Ansermet' Prize for Symphony No 3 'Toward Paradise'; the 1997 International 'Z Kodaly Award' of Budapest for the masque for chorus and orchestra 'The Prayer of St Francis'; and the Belgian 1999 International ClarinetFest prize for Fantasy Quintet for clarinet and strings. (Patric Standford passed away on 23 April 2014.)

Born in Florence (Italy) in 1981, Simone Stella studied piano at the Conservatory "L. Cherubini" of Florence with Rosanita Racugno, and perfected his piano studies with Marco Vavolo. Studying organ with Alessandro Albenga, he is also a disciple of the harpsichordist Francesco Cera for ancient music, and studied organ improvisation in Cremona with Fausto Caporali and Stefano Rattini. He has attended many courses and seminars held by internationally acclaimed artists including Ton Koopman, Giancarlo Parodi, Edoardo Bellotti, Mariella Mochi, Montserrat Torrent, Michel Bouvard, Stefano Innocenti, Claudio Brizi, Klemens Schnorr, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Ludger Lohmann, Umberto Forni, Monika Henking, Guy Bovet, Matteo Imbruno and Luca Scandali.

First Prize Winner in the International Organ Competition "Agati-Tronci" in Pistoia in 2008, and in both the 2004 and 2005 editions of the "Alessandro Esposito" Organ Competition held in Lucca, Italy, Simone Stella maintains an active concert schedule, both as a soloist and in various chamber formations, in Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands. His repertoire includes the vast majority of Johann Sebastian Bach's keyboard works, as well as organ music from every historical era up to and including the present day. He is an active composer of instrumental music, both for solo instruments and chamber groups, in addition to working on free urtext editions of keyboard works by italian renaissance and baroque composers.

He was titular organist at the historical Orsanmichele Church in Florence.

Also acclaimed as a poet and critic, having won prizes in several international competitions, Simone Stella was awarded at a very young age the titles of Academic Senator by the International Academy of the Micenei and Accademico di Merito by the Italian Academy of the Etruscans for his musical and literary talents.

Biography: Rivka Stern was born in Haifa, Israel 1963. Her parents origin mixed from Luxemburg and Lebanon. Her father was Violinist, and she listened to a lot of live concerts from a very early age. Learnt Classical Ballet from age 12, and started to play Classical guitar from age 14. In age 21 composed her first Vocal song with guitar. Composed tens of songs from a lot of styles: Country, folk, soul, children songs etc. In December 1999 released her first musical Album with 14 traditional songs in Hebrew, where she composed all the melodies, played the guitar and sing. In January 2000 she started to lear Piano. Never take any lesson from any teacher up-to-date, but worked very hard on technic, especially on left hand. Her natural fingers skill helped her to establish the piano level she own today. All her Classical compositions for piano solo are recorded Live while she compose them, using Roland RD-100.

Solo Piano: Rivka Stern is a classical music composer, that compose new tonal music. Most of her works are for Piano Solo. Known as a special melodist, distinguished with a deep spiritual inner meditation and gentle beauty. Her music is original and authentic, wich use the Classical Music language to express the contemporary life

eter Stevens is a composer and pianist living in Seattle, Washington. His works include music for two pianos and percussion, choral music, mixed chamber, string quartet, percussion ensemble and solo piano. Peter graduated magna cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts. He currently studies composition with Samuel Jones, Composer-in-Residence at the Seattle Symphony. His other teachers have included Bern Herbolsheimer, David Mahler, Jarrad Powell, David Mesler and Bodhan Bubak in the Czech Republic. He performs in Seattle as a solo pianist, accompanist, and with Chamber Music Seattle. He has debuted his works with the New Prague Theater and at the Soros Contemporary Arts Center in Prague, Czech Republic.

Alastair Stout was born in 1975. He Studied Composition and Organ at the Royal College of Music (1993 - 1997) with Joseph Horovitz, at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (1997 - 1998) with Dr. Rober Saxton and is currently working for a PhD in Composition at Royal Holloway, University of London with Simon Holt (due for completion in 2001).

His portfolio comprises a range of works from solo to multi-media dramatic pieces including ensemble,vocal and orchestral music. He has collaborated with choreographers at the London Contemporary Dance School, writing for the Internet (www.longtales.com) and for the theatre (GSMD production of The Cherry Orchard).

His works have been performed by ensembles including the Brunel Ensemble, Composer's Ensemble, Ixion, Chroma, St. Paul's Cathedral and Waltham Abbey Choirs, and solo artists such as Rolf Hind, Sarah Walker and Melinda Maxwell. The music has been played in in venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Sir Henry Wood Hall, Reid Concert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, and festivals such as the Spitalfields Festival, Norfolk and Norwich Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Gregynog Festival and the Hoxton New Music Days. His music has also been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Shetland.

Alastair is also an organist specialising in 20th century repertoire. He has played in St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Ely Cathedral and in churches throughout Britain. Organ works have been written for him by Arthur Wills, Stephen Wilcocks and Gordon Lawson. He was assistant organist at Wesley's Chapel, London from 1993 - 2001.

He attended as a Fellow of the course Torches Workshop Foundation Contemporary Music Composition taught by the Masters: Gerardo Gandini, M. Lambertini, F Monjeau and C. Saitta (100 teaching hours). UBA Course: Study and Application of Analog & Digital Media for Music Composition. Conducted by: Pablo Cetta, Oscar Edelstein, Paul Di Lisia, and Horacio Montes Daniel Gutman. Orchestration study with Maestro Bruno D'Astoli.

He graduated in Chamber Music at the National University of Lanus. UNLa. Upon request, he has made arrangements of pieces and concerts for public execution .. In 2003 he was awarded by the National Academy of Fine Arts; Stimulus Dr. Bonifacio del Carril prize for best play chamber music with the Taliban work. He was awarded the national grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, 2006 for music creation. For his work Edge (see Strings) won an Honorable Mention in the Music Competition of the city of Buenos Aires. 2004/2005. CATEGORY "A": Symphonic Music.

Rae Howell is a freelance musician, working as a composer and performer in Melbourne Australia, currently under the name of 'sunwrae'. Rae’s writings present an original, all-instrumental contemporary classical music program, stemming from the piano and vibraphone, extending to instrumental ensembles as large as the orchestra. She works regularly as a session multi-instrumentalist, in both studio and live performance areas, on piano and vibraphone, trumpet, mellophone, glockenspiel, melodica, guitar, vocals and percussion.

The Sunwrae Ensemble consists, in various combinations, of piano, vibraphone, harp, clarinet, lap-steel guitar, double bass, strings and percussion, artistically implementing improvisation, creating eclectic textures and rhythmical intricacy. Written by Rae Howell and performed live and semi-improvised by the Sunwrae Ensemble, Sunwrae Muisc welcomes proposals for production and collaborations.

Krassimir TASKOV (born 1955) is among the most active Bulgarian composers, pianists, and pedagogues of his generation. He graduated with honors from the Sofia State Music Academy "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov." Krassimir Taskov has written compositions for a variety of performance mediums. His works have been singled out for prizes in prestigious international and national competitionsMore than twenty of his compositions have been printed by various publishing houses in Sofia (Music, Elm, and UBC), Moscow (Musica), Paris (J. Billoudot), and in Canada (Vox Bulgarica). He carry out very activity as solo and chamber music performer.During the period 1985-9, Taskov was the chairman of the young composers' section of the Union of Bulgarian Composers. I am a recent graduate of the University of Manchester. I gained a first class BMus degree before going on to receive a masters in composition, studying with Philip Grange. I also specialised in contemporary performance on the viola, studying with Louise Lansdown at the Royal Northern college of music.

I am now teching creative curriculum in primary schools (thats a mixture of drama, music and movement) and also teach music theory and viola privately. I also gig with my string quartet and am involved in numerous projects as a writer, singer and viola player. I am listen to all kinds of music from contemporary classical, to jungle, to rock, to jazz!
