Aurelio Porfiri is born in Rome in 1968. Graduated in choral music and choral conduction, he directs the women choir "Regina Pacis", whose voices have been heard in numerous concerts. Besides, he has studied organ, composition, polyphonic music, and Gregorian Chant, and is presently serving as one of the organists at St. Peter's Basilica. He is especially dedicated to composition of sacred music, such as, oratory, holy mass and motet. He frequently contributes music and articles to the journal "La Vita in Cristo e nella Chiesa", and his works are broadcast by the Vatican Radio.

A recipient of the American-Austrian foundation's 2003 Herbert von Karajan Fellowship for Young Conductors, David Rahbee has enjoyed an increasingly busy schedule across Europe. He was assistant conductor of the International Attergau Institute Orchestra at the 2003 Salzburg Festival, assisting members of the Vienna Philharmonic Bobby McFerrin. In July 2004, he conducted Peter Eotvos’s Shadows at the International Bartok Seminar, rehearsing and performing the work in the presence of the composer with the Savaria Symphony Orchestra. He has also worked with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Oradea and Brasov Philharmonic Orchestras, the Dresden Hochschule orchestra, Collegium Dorotheum , Cool Opera of Norway, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Chorus, the MATAV Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, and at the 16th and 17th International Goppisberger Musikwochen. Rahbee was an assistant to Marcello Viotti, whom he has assisted on several occasions between 2002-2005.

David Rahbee was conductor of the Fidelio Chamber Orchestra (FCO) in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 1997-2001. During this time he worked as guest rehearsal conductor at the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras,the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestras, and at the New England Conservatory. He has also led ensembles at Indiana University, The Cleveland Institute of Music, The Curtis Institute, the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School, Boston University, Harvard University, Yale University, the Longy School, and Domaine Forget (Quebec).

Mr. Rahbee’s principal conducting teachers have been Charles Bruck and Michael Jinbo at the Pierre Monteux School. He holds degrees from Indiana University and from the New England Conservatory. He has also participated in post-graduate conducting classes at the Universitaet fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Vienna. Mr. Rahbee has taken part in conducting masterclasses in Europe and the USA given by Sir Colin Davis, Jorma Panula, Zdenek Macal, Hugh Wolff, Zoltan Pesko ,and Otto-Werner Mueller.

James Ross was a finalist in the 1998 BBC Conducting Competition and is currently conductor of the St. Albans Symphony Orchestra, Oxford University Sinfonietta, Christ Church Festival Orchestra, Oxford, and the Welwyn Garden City Music Society. He has also conducted in Austria, Bosnia, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Serbia, Sri Lanka and the USA.

James Ross was born in 1972 and won scholarships to Harrow School and Oxford Univeristy, studying history and music, then writing a doctorate in French opera. He has been published in 'Music and Letters', 'Opera', 'Musical Times', 'English Historical Review' and has contributed to several books including 'French Music Since the Death of Berlioz' (Ashgate Press, 2005). Conducting teachers have included Peter Stark, Ernst Schelle, Victor Feldbrill, Alan Hazeldine and Zdenek Bilek.

His conducting repertoire contains over 500 works, ranging from the Baroque to contemporary music. It includes the major symphonic, concerto and choral repertoire, opera, specialist French music and first performances.

Jason Sagebiel is founder of Sage Music School, director of the NYC Guitar Orchestra, and lecturer at CUNY, where he teaches guitar, musicianship, history, and theory.

He has been the subject of two books, Jonathan Pieslak's Sound Targets: American Soldiers and Music in the Iraq War and Martin Daughtry's Listening to War: Sound, Music, Trauma, and Survival in Wartime Iraq, which he also edited.

Maestro Gevorg Sargsyan was born in Yerevan, former USSR in 05 October 1981. Coming from musicians’ family, he had serious musician talent from the childhood. This helped him to be progressive student in music school and after in Special Music School where he studied in class of violoncello. (prof. K. A. Tagvoryan). In 1999, Gevorg Sargsyan has entered in Orchestral Conducting Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (class of prof. Yuri Davtyan). During his study, from 1997, he also worked in various orchestras in Yerevan as a cellist. (Yerevan Symphonic, Opera, Radio Orchestra...).

Being 18 years old on 1st year of studing at the conservatory, Gevorg shows himself as a progressive student and has been selected by the rectorat of Yerevan State Conservatory to direct Conservatory's Symphonic Orchestra. He worked there until 2003 and has gone to Vienna Conservatory for 6 months course with prof. M.Cencic. Since 2002, Maestro Sargsyan is an honorable conductor of Yerevan Youth Chamber Orchestra ( www.yyco.narod.ru ). Has a close collaboration with ensemble "AUS-5" performing mainly cotemporary music of composers of 21st century.

Since March 2004, Maestro Gevorg Sargsyan is an assistant director and conductor of the Armenian National Academic Opera & Ballet Theatre ( www.opera.am )

I started playing brass instruments at the age of 3 and have been playing in bands and orchestras of all types since i was 7. I have excellent musician skills due to being in contact with music all my life through the salvation army.

I am currently in my 3rd year at Trinity college of music studying for a degree in Music Performance with study options including conducting, instrumental conducting, communication skills, arts in music, instrument repair, music therepy and music technology.

I have played with many ensembles and orchestras. At current I am the Principal Bass Trombone of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and Principal Bass Trombone of the North London Philharmonic and Ernest Reed Symphony Orchestra. I also play in a Brass Quintet that does workshops and recitals throughout London and has been to Seattle.

I am also a teacher in the summer camps in the states and have been so for the last 3 years. I would like to look for work in teaching but mostly playing at the moment.

Sergei Ivanovich Skripka was born in October 5.10.1949. He received his first music education in Kharkov specialised music school. In 1972 he graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Arts as chorusmaster. In 1973 Sergei Skripka entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire where he accomplished the course of studies under professor Leo Ginsburg as an opera-symphony conductor. In 1977 he stayed in the Conservatoire for two more years as a postgraduate under the same professor and was his practicing assistant that time. After graduating from the Conservatoire in 1979 Sergei Skripka started to work with the Russian State Symphony Cinema Orchestra. Since 1993 he is its Artistic Director and Chief conductor. S.Skripka has conducted a great number of the orchestra’s concerts and recodings, includings those with such famous soloists as Mikhail Pletnyov, Konstantin Shsherbakov, Mikhail Bezverhnij, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Sergej Sudzilovsky and others. The orchestra has also given a lot of concert tours: 1991 – Berlin, 1992 – Frankfurt-am –Main, 1998 – Tunis (the concert programs was including Britten’s “War Requiem”, Mozart’s Requiem, Tchaikovsky’s String Serenade, Mozart’s Symphony in g-minor and others). Sergei Skripka was the first in Russia to perform “St.Marcus Passion” by R.Keiser and he also made first CD-recordings of music by S.Degtyaryov, R.Gliere, A.Mosolov and V.Shebalin. Simultaneonsly Sergei Skripka conducts the Zhukovsky Symphony Orchestra (since 1979) with which he went on concert tours to Switzerland on 1991 and Hungary (1998). The concert program comprised works by L.Mozart, W.Mozart , J.S.Bach, A.Corelli, A.Vivaldi, A.Ambrosio, L.Boccherini, P.Tchaikovsky, R.Shshedrin, G.Gershwin and others. Sergei Skripka went abroad separately from his orchestra as a conductor (1994 – Aberdin, Scotland; 1998 – Sonderburg, The Kingdom of Denmark ). Programs comprising “The Rock” by S.Rachmaninov, Poulenc’s Concerto for two pianos and symphony orchestra, Symphony ¹7 by S.Prokofiev, Mozart’s Symphony in g-minor and others. Sergei Skripka is a professor at the department of orchestra conducting in the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music. He is a People`s Artist of the Russia. Sergei Skripka speaks freely both German and English which greatly facilitates his work with foreign orchestras.

Born 1949 . Member of the London-based Scratch Orchestra and various composer-performer ensembles during 1970s with John Lewis , Michael Parsons , Howard Skempton , John White , Gavin Bryars and Ben Mason . Has been a member of the Gavin Bryars Ensemble since its inception .

Since 1983 has written over 90 piano pieces ranging in duration from 1 to 90 minutes . These are organised into recital-length "Piano Concerts" of which 8 have so far been completed .

Richard Snider is a graduate of Texas Tech University holding both BMEd. and MMEd. degrees. He taught for 28 years in the Santa Fe Public Schools and has taught at St. Michael's High School since 2001.

Richard is a conductor for the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association, working with three ensembles: Symphonic Band, Jazz Band 2 and String Orchestra 3.

In 2002 Richard was inducted into the New Mexico Music Educator's Hall of Fame. He has served as adjudicator and clinician for many schools and districts around the state.

Richard plays double bass with many local and area bands as well as jazz combos and big bands. He also plays clarinet and bass clarinet with the Santa Fe Community Orchestra and the Santa Fe Concert Band.

Professor of Composition, Guildhall School of Music, London from 1967 to 1980; then director of music at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds, UK until retirement 1993. Currently freelance composer, conductor,writer, music journalist.

Recent composition awards include the 1989 City of Geneva 'Ernst Ansermet' Prize for Symphony No 3 'Toward Paradise'; the 1997 International 'Z Kodaly Award' of Budapest for the masque for chorus and orchestra 'The Prayer of St Francis'; and the Belgian 1999 International ClarinetFest prize for Fantasy Quintet for clarinet and strings. (Patric Standford passed away on 23 April 2014.)
