| | Venezuelan American pianist, she started her musical studies at the age of three in Caracas Venezuela. Later moved to Paris where she studied music at The Ecole Martenot and attended L'Universite Sorbonne de Paris. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Music at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. In the 90's, she established in South Florida where she received her Masters in Piano Performance at University of Miami. There she studied with Rosalina Sakcstein, former student of the world famous pianist Claudio Arrau. Sylvia has also received master classes from some of the worlds major artists including: Paul Badura-Skoda, Maria Joao Pires, Stephen Hugh, Dimitri Bashkirov, Walter Blakenheim and others.
Sylvia Constantinidis was already established as a pianist in Venezuela when she left in the 1990's. In South America, she toured several times and played as a soloist with orchestras. In 1987 she published her first recording: a collection of Venezuelan Classical music from the XIX century. Very well received by the critics. She has been recognized by the Venezuelan government with two 'Arts in Residence' Grants as well as the 'Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho' Grant for her undergraduate and later graduate studies. She has also received scholarships from University of Miami, Canford Music Festival, Paloma O’shea Piano Festival between others. She has participated in music festival in Spain, France, London, Venezuela, Central and South America as well as the USA.
As a music educator Sylvia has been recognized with several awards including several grants from 'The Education Funds', and Miami Dade College "Learning Innovations Apple Grant". She has also been honored with 'The Music Note Award 2003', recognition given by the Patronesse of the Opera and the Kennedy Foundation.
Sylvia is a Humanities and Music Faculty at Miami Dade College. This talented artist is also a composer with several piano, chamber music and orchestra works of her own, some of them already recorded.

| | James Correa (1968 - Porto Alegre, Brazil), composer, sound designer and guitarist. Mr. Correa has a Master degree in composition and a Bachelor in guitar. In 2005 Correa was awarded with two scholarships, one from Fulbright and another from SUNY at Buffalo to do his PhD in Music Composition. His works have been performed in Argentina, United States, Canada, Europe, and in the most important concert halls and Contemporary Music Festivals in Brazil. He has works recorded in CDs in Brazil and Canada, and his music has been broadcast in Brazil, Canada, USA, France, Belgium, Yuguslavia and England.
Correa was co-founder and the first director of NMC-POA (a centre for information and promotion of contemporary music in Porto Alegre-Brazil); Associated Composer in LAMESM (Computer Music Lab. Santa Maria - Brazil) and Composer in Residence at the CME (Electronic Music Centre at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil). In 1999 James Correa was one of the 20 composers of all Americas selected by the ensemble North/South Consonance for the season 2000. In the year of 2001 he was one of the five chosen composers to represent Brazil in the festival Syntèse 2001 promoted by the Institut International Musique Electroacustique de Bourges, France. James Correa have been a guest composer in many contemporary music festivals in Brazil, he was also member of the artistic committee of ENCOMPOR (a biannual contemporary music festival in Porto Alegre, Brazil), and one of the directors of the International Multimedia Festival Multiple-X (Porto Alegre, Brazil - 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004). Since 2003 he is working in collaboration with the video artists Marcelo Gobatto (as in the video-sound installation The Forbidden Word - 2004, Porto Alegre) and Claudia Paim.
Together with his work as a composer, James Correa is developing a career as performer of contemporary music. His catalog includes works for soloists, chamber music, orchestra, electronics and multimedia.

| | Lodewijk Crommelin, born in 1974, studied piano with Russian pianist Naum Grubert at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Holland. After obtaining his performer's diploma he continued his studies in the United States with the celebrated pianists Abbey Simon and Horacio Gutierrez. His studies abroad were made possible with competitive scholarships from the Dutch National Funds for the Performing Arts and the VSB-funds.
At the age of ten he already won first prize at a competition. Later on he won several prizes at national competitions for young talent in Holland. He performs extensively in Holland and played concerts in Germany, Switzerland and the United States, and performed for the national public radio in the U.S. Besides his soloistic activities he plays chamber music and accompanies singers and instrumentalists.

| | Bulgarian born violist Rumen Cvetkov started his studies at age of four and made his concerto debut four years later as a soloist of Thrakia Orchestra and with his father as a conductor for a special radio and TV broadcast. In 1997 Mr. Cvetkov graduated from “Dobrin Petkov” Special Music School. The same year he was accepted at the Plovdiv Academy for Music and Dance where he was one of the few students of the Late Professor Georgy Naidenoff (pupil of renowned Feodor Druzhinin). During his studies he led the viola section of symphony and chamber orchestras of the Academy and was invited to be the principal of the Plovdiv Chamber Orchestra and Colegium Musicum. His orchestra experience also includes: Plovdiv Philharmonic, Monterrey Philharmonic, Plano Symphony, Abilene Philharmonic, and Irving Symphony. Mr.Cvetkov took master classes in viola and chamber music with Mincho Minchev (Bulgaria), Ognian Stanchev (Bulgaria), Yuri Bashmet (Russia), Erick Kruger (Germany), Matthew Dane (USA) among others.
As a soloist and as a member of many chamber ensembles he has appeared in: “Bulgaria” Concert Hall, “Palacio de Bellas Artes” (Mexico City), St.Micheli Cathedral (Brussels), Desingel Concert Hall (Antwerp), and performed with artists such as Mikhail Muntian, Mincho Minchev, Stoika Milanova, Petko Radev and many others. Mr.Cvetkov participated in Mimir Chamber Music Festival (USA) as well as Athens Music Festival (Greece) and played recitals for “Music in the Old City” Festival and “European Culture Month” in Bulgaria.
In March 2004 Mr. Cvetkov was invited to join “I Palpiti” Chamber Orchestra as their principal on the annual Young Artists Chamber Music Festival. During the festival, which will be held in Beverly Hills (Los Angeles), he will perform solo and chamber music with the members of the orchestra. Director of the festival is the famous violinist Eduard Schmieder and Artistic Advisors are such musicians as Gidon Kremer, Igor Oistrakh, Ruggiero Ricci, Vadim Repin, Vladimir Ashkenazy to name just a few.
Mr.Cvetkov gave the premieres of several pieces such as: “Capriccio” for viola solo dedicated to him by the Bulgarian composer Dimiter Shatrowski as well as the world premiere of Kostas Nikitas’s Sonata for violin and cello. 2004 performances will also include another two premieres of Sonata for viola and piano by Graham Justice and Trio for two violas and piano by Yuri Blinov. Since year 2002 Mr. Cvetkov has moved to USA where he is studying with Misha Galaganov (Israel).

The refining of its distinctive capabilities, however, could only proceed with the emergence of violinist and artist, Jerald Daemyon a young innovator willing to expand on music history and incorporate modern ideals, fusing the past with the present in a creative synthesis of styles to achieve a vibe that’s wholly original. On his rhythmically diverse debut CD “Thinking About You”, the Detroit native draws upon masters of Noel Pointer, Jean-Luc Ponty, Stuff Smith and Stephan Grappelli. Daemyon forges a unique sound all at once tender and percussive, complementing his masterful melodic performances with exciting landscapes from the R&B, hip-hop, funk, and contemporary traditions. Year 2004, fans can expect the same smooth operation with the release of the new self-title CD “JERALD DAEMYON”, picking up where the hit “SUMMER MADNESS” left off. “Though I am classically trained, my intent is take the violin into a Renaissance phase, a rebirth period where I incorporate a little of everything, sort of like a pot of gumbo where everything smells good mixed in,” says Daemyon, who has played professionally since age 13. “I’m trying to lead a movement towards change in music, as well as how the violin is perceived in music today…My mix of R&B and Jazz with Hip-Hop and funky rhythms incorporates music of the mind, body, soul and people. It’s about making people feel new things. I try to keep things fresh and hip, develop my own style and set new trends by using different genres of the musical vocabulary, while also making my own concepts work.” “SUMMER MADNESS”, whose widespread urban radio airplay success throughout the U.S. and Chicago area helped bring Daemyon to GRP Records President, Tommy LiPuma and Universal Records attention, is a fresh, hip and funky, take on Kool & The Gang’s early Seventies, feel good smash. Once again, his frenzied violin winds darkness through light tenderness, shifting dynamics while dancing above the rolling synth sounds captures the vibe.
Jerald began studying the violin in the fourth grade in Detroit Public Schools, and was soon spending his weekends in a program at Wayne State University. At thirteen, he started his professional career in a be-bop setting with Detroit Saxophonist, Donald Walden and the Detroit Jazz Orchestra, and later formed his own band. While listening to everything from the R&B of Prince and Patti Labelle to Duke Ellington, Daemyon complemented his formal training studying with Dr. Morris Hochberg, of Michigan, Former principal violinist of the Cleveland Orchestra and assistant concertmaster of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He also studied under Peter Michalicia, renowned Czechoslovakian Concert Violin Soloist. He took Master Classes with the internationally renowned Concert Violinist Isaac Stern and attended the famed International Music Camp at Interlochen School of Performing Arts. And he has also studied Jazz Studies and Music Performance at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Jerald has appeared with Bill Cosby, Gladys Knight, Bernie Mac, Brian McKnight, legendary jazz vocalist Joe Williams, Roy Ayers, Nancy Wilson, Vesta Williams, Ronny Laws, Jon B, Dee-Dee Sharp, The United States Air Force Symphony Orchestra and various other symphony orchestra across the country and has been a guest performer several times on the nationally syndicated radio program “The Tom Joyner Morning Show”.
He is a recognized member of the National Academy of Recording Artists & Sciences (The Grammy Awards), has received the 3M Award of Artistic Innovation, Billboard Magazines, Best Contemporary Jazz Album 1997, “The Spirit of Detroit Award” and, at sixteen received the State of Michigan Certificate of Outstanding Achievement, and numerous honors for his community service across the country. He has also held the honor of membership in the International Orchestra of Windsor Canada, the Detroit Metropolitan Orchestra, and the Tabernacle Chamber Orchestra, and in 2001 formed his own orchestral ensemble “The Linwood Symphony”. The big-sounding “THINKING ABOUT YOU” was released independently on Jerald’s own label Jazzestra Records, before making its way around the urban radio market in the United States and world, where his urban sound was an instant airplay request and sales smash. | | UMBERTO DE BAPTISTIS Si è brillantemente diplomato in Pianoforte nel 1997, sotto la guida del M° Giovanni Durante, presso l’Istituto Musicale Pareggiato «Gaetano Braga» di Teramo. Si è esibito, da solista ed in formazione cameristica, nell’ambito di diverse manifestazioni nazionali, ottenendo personalissimi consensi di pubblico e critica.
Dal 1997 ha assunto la Direzione artistica dell’«Incontro di fine anno» (pomeriggio culturale musica/pittura), organizzato dalla sezione teramana dell’Unione Nazionale Ufficiali in Congedo d’Italia. Nel 1998 si è esibito a Salsomaggiore Terme per la rassegna «Primavera alle terme» con un programma di musica francese del ‘900, confermando un crescente gradimento da parte del pubblico. Nel 2000, con il patrocinio della Pontificia Commissione per i beni culturali della Chiesa (Città del Vaticano) ha tenuto l’unico concerto teramano per il Giubileo “Cantate Domino omens gentes: alleluia!”, in duo con il soprano Edvige Giusto con l’esecuzione, in prima assoluta nella città di Teramo, del mottetto mozartiano “Exultate, jubilate”.
Ha conseguito il diploma di approvazione, primo classificato con il massimo dei voti e la lode, nel 2000 e nel 2002 al Corso biennale di alto perfezionamento in Interpretazione e stile di musica colta latino-americana, tenuto dalla Prof.ssa Laura Blanco Facal, in collaborazione con l’Istituto Universitario del Teatro di Caracas (anno 2000) e con il Conservatorio “S. Bolivar” di Caracas (anno 2002).
E’ Direttore stabile della Corale della Basilica Cattedrale di Teramo, Organista titolare della Cattedrale di Teramo, nonché Incaricato per la musica sacra e la liturgia, Organista e Maestro del Coro nella Parrocchia di S. Antonio in Teramo. Commissario esterno a diversi concorsi nazionali, è direttore della rassegna “I concerti” del Laboratorio culturale «Ars nova» e del Concorso Internazionale di esecuzione musicale “Premio Ars nova”. E’ direttore stabile del Coro Manfredi dell’Università degli studi di Teramo e maestro collaboratore con l’Associazione Corale “Giuseppe Verdi” di Teramo. | | Sandra M del Cid began her musical studies at the age of four on violin and piano. In 1997 Ms. del Cid was appointed principal flute with the Landon Symphonette and the Beethoven Chamber Orchestra. Since then, Ms. del Cid has also performed with the Richmond Symphony, Washington Bach Consort, and the Eastern Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a substitute for the Orlando Philharmonic and New World Symphony conducted by Hal France and Michael Tilson Thomas, respectively.
As principal of the Landon Symphonette, Ms. del Cid has soloed with the orchestra on numerous occasions playing repertoire ranging from Griffes to Mozart. In 2000 Ms. del Cid was invited to play Mercadante’s Concerto in e minor with the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra as winner of the orchestra’s Young Artist Competition. That same year Ms. del Cid also won the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate competition and took prizes home in the Mid-Atlantic Piccolo Artist competition, and the non-bowed division of the Kingsville International Competition.
Ms. del Cid completed her musical studies at Peabody Institute of Music of the Johns Hopkins University with a BM in flute performance as a recipient of the Thomas Menehan Memorial Scholarship. Her primary teachers include Emily Skala, Laurie Sokoloff, Mark Sparks, Alice Weinreb, and Rita Brockway. While completing her undergraduate degree, Ms. del Cid became involved with the Early Music department and began her formal training of period instruments studying with Colin St. Martin (traverso) and Gwyn Roberts (recorder).
