Alfonso Marin, lute and theorbo Alfonso Marin began his musical studies in the “Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Tenerife” in the Canary Islands (Spain), and afterwards in the “Conservatorium van Amsterdam” were he continued his classical guitar and vihuela studies under the guidance of Lex Eisenhardt. In 1998, after his graduation he devoted himself entirely to the study of early plucked instruments as the lute, theorbo and vihuela, continuing his studies in the same conservatory for five more years with the prestigious lutenist Fred Jacobs. After his studies he continued with an intense concert activity as a soloist, vocal and instrumental accompanist as well as continuo theorbo player in many Dutch renaissance and baroque ensembles, orchestras and choirs like “Les Perruques de Amsterdam”,“Arion ensemble”, “The Royal wind consort”, “Nieuwe Opera Academie (DNOA), “Alkaan Emsemble”, “Musica del Seicento” , “Encore”, “4 bij 4”, “Doetinchemse Bach Vereniging” and “Kamerkoor Sjanton”, etc. He is a founder member and director of the renaissance ensemble “El Parnaso Lirico” with whom he performs regularly in Holland, Germany, France Belgium and Switzerland. Member of the Wolkestein Ensemble dedicated to medieval music with concerts in Holland and Germany. His collaboration with the soprano Valeria Mignaco is one of his most rewarding and fruitful musical activities, having performed with her in numerous recitals in Holland, Germany and Spain.

Edward P. Mascari(b.1949) has composed a wide variety of orchestral, choral, chamber and pedagogical piano music.His works have been performed throughout the United States and Europe including premieres at Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center)and Carnegie Recital Hall in New York.

Mr. Mascari's compositions have been performed by the Moravian Philharmonic, the Slovak Radio Symphony, the Berlin Saxophone Quartet, the Manhattan Chamber Symphonia, the Boston Composers String Quartet, the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, and the Maryland Bach Aria Group.

Mr. Mascari holds Master of Music degrees in both Jazz Studies and Classical Composition from New England Conservatory. He taught in the Theory department at Boston University where he was enrolled in the doctoral program.Teachers:William Thomas McKinley, Charles Fussell and Lukas Foss.

In addition to composing, Mr. Mascari has been organist/choir director at the Harford Street Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years. He teaches piano privately and performs as a jazz pianist throughout the Boston area.

Blair McMillen is establishing himself as one of the most verstatile and sought-after pianists today. A brilliant born artiste TABLA virtuoso from Delhi Gharana young & Dynamic Yuva Ratna DEEPAK MEHTA (28.05.1982) does not belong to a family of musicians. Initially trained under his own God Gifted Talent spotted by his class teacher at the age of six. Since then his natural music birth started from percussion instrument “BONGO” followed by “CONGO” which in due course of time and that’s too without learning from anybody played in All India Radio, Doordarshan and accompanied with the music groups of Bhappi Lahari, Narinder Chanchal, Prem Bhatia & Party and many more and started earning fame and laurels by coverages in print and electronic medias including his story at the age of 12 was covered and telecast at that time by the famous TV serial “SURABHI” Episode No.127 in 1994. Finally shifted to the more demanding discipline of Hindustani Classical Instrumental music “TABLA” on the landmark advice of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Sarod Legend on 28.03.1991. Being the disciple of World renowned Gurus Late Ustad Chhamma Khan of Delhi Gharana followed by his son Padamshree Late Ustad Shafaat Ahmed Khan become the powerhouse performer of TABLA. His electrifying performance always captivate audience whether in the United State of America other countries or Motherland INDIA. His gurus were essentially a maestro of the Delhi gharana of tabla-rhythm. But their repertoire was very rich, comprising typical compositions of almost every major gharana. I am a keyboard player from Brazil, have 17 years old. I have some compositions based on improvisations (the most sound like Symphonic Heavy Metal, but there are ballads and many styles also) and I would like to show it to people around the world.

I also play in a band with the not-fixed name Som Livre (Free Sound), that playes progressive rock. the band hasme at the keyboards, Djalma at acoustic guitars/el. guitars/vocals and Ivan at Drums/Percussion. We are in the start, but got 3 complete musics. One of them is Divino Cavaleiro (Divine Knight) by Djalma, and arranjed by the group. The duration is 9:30.

Alberto Mesirca was born in Vicenza in 1984. He started to play the Guitar at the age of eight. He completed Humanistic studies in 2003, got the Conservatory Diploma in Castelfranco Veneto, where he studied with Gianfranco Volpato and Domenico Nordio, in 2004, the Kuenstlerische Reife-Konzert Diplom at the Music Academy of Kassel, under Wolfgang Lendle, in 2007 and the Music Laurea in 2008. All studies ended with the highest score, “laude” and “honour mention”. He made several masterclasses with Barrueco, Pierri, Vieaux, Diaz, Kavanagh and many others.

He was appointed “Young Artist of the Year” at the Internazional Guitar Festival of Aalborg, Denmark (2006), and of Enschede, Holland (2008). He won the “Peredur Preis fuer Junge Kuenstler” 2006 (1. Prize) and the prestigious “Golden Guitar” 2007 at the International Music Meeting of Alessandria (Member of WFIMC); he won the “Davide Zambon” Prize and the “Giovani Talenti” Prize of the Lions Club (the youngest ever).

Since many years he’s collaborated with contemporary composers who dedicated to him their works, like Angelo Gilardino, David W. Solomons, Raffaele Bellafronte, Carlo Boccadoro, David Eres Brun, Christian Alvarez etc. In 2007, for the International Contemporary Art Exhibition “Documenta”, he played in duo with the star jazz drummer Peter Giger. He recorded 2 albums, “Ikonostas” (2006), and “Lejanias-Scarlatti Gilardino” (2007), and all critics were enthusiastic. He was chosen, with just 3 other italians, to record for the “Classical Guitar Web Compilation, vol. III” (2007). Since 2006 he’s working with the “Luis Spohr Stiftung”, regularly invited to the concerts and recordings of the association. His latest Scarlatti recording was distributed with the Music Magazines “Suonare News” and “Seicorde”, being Alberto the youngest artist of both Cd collections. In the first half of 2008 he had the chance to make more than 30 solo concerts throughout Europe, and made his debut at the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam (Radio Broadcast concert for AVRO4), Music Auditorium of Valencia, Barocksaal des Alten Rathauses of Vienna, Teatro Regio of Parma, Il Vittoriale of Gardone Riviera, Teatro Duse of Asolo. This concert serie brought him to play in festivals with Music Stars like Martin Rummel, Dimitri Ashkenazy, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Matthias Schulz (Wiener Phil.), Winfried Rademacher, Acies Quartett.

He plays Guitars of Giuseppe Guagliardo and William John Gilbert. He appeared on RAI Radio3, Hessisches Rundfunk HR2, ORF, AVRO4, the National Hungarian TV. He edited and fingered works for RaiTrade, Bèrben, Curci, Musik Fabrik, Solomons Music. Together with Lendle's Scarlatti transcriptions, his own ones and a special recording will be published by Edizioni Curci in october 2008. In October 2008 he will record a cd for Stradivarius. In 2009 “La Guitarra” will publish the Dvd + interview that he gave at the “Palazzina Liberty” of Milano. In October 2008, finally, two Dvds will be published, a Concert at the Sinagogue of Enschede (29 April 2008) and a Concert at the State Theater of Enschede (3 May 2008). Piano diploma obtained on September 19th 1989 at the Conservatorio di Musica F. A. Bonporti of Trento, in Italy. Since 1990 working as a private piano teacher with external collaborations as piano accompanist for exhibitions and examinations of pupils of the class of Prof. Fulvio Hrvatich, violin teacher in the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Tartini of Trieste. Since October 2002 part time collaboration as peripatetic teacher of harmony for the Accademia musicale “Ars Nova” in Trieste.

Having started my piano studies with Prof. Buzzai at the age of four, I lived a very successful musical childhood, earning many prizes and awards. During teen-age family problems let me dedicate myself just to the fulfilment of my career, letting aside competitions and exhibitions. At about 16 I started being attracted by composition and wrote my very first pieces. On September 19th 1989 I eventually finished my piano career, obtaining the piano diploma as external at Bonporti Conservatory in Trento, Italy. Meanwhile I started again to take part to competitions with some success, especially in two pianos or four hands duo, thing that moved me toward chamber music. Since 1990 I have been dedicating myself to private teaching and since 1992 I have been collaborating with prof. Hrvatic’s violin pupils as accompanist at the piano to examinations and exhibitions at the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. For some years I tried to create some chamber music ensemble, but unfortunately my attempts proved unsuccessful since the poor occasions offered by Italian music environment moved all my partners toward different professional careers. The rest of ‘90s had been rather quiescent and dominated by depression, with many diseases and deaths among relatives and parents. All through these years I dedicated myself mainly to private teaching, integrating my income with different occasional activities, mainly music or computer related. In fact during these years I learnt a lot about computers and got fascinated by the chances they offer, especially in the artistic field. Eventually emerging from my spleen with new millennium and stimulated by travels, new contacts and a happy marriage, my composing vein started burning again, and I am now quite prolific. In 2001 and recently this year I took part as composer to the Festival Kugy, in Trieste, I saw two sacred hymns of mine, written for the 4th Diocesan Eucharistic Congress, published by Perugia’s “Istituto Musicale Girolamo Frescobaldi”, and I am participating to many competitions, playing my chances in order to start a nowadays hard (especially in Italy) music career as a composer.

Shailendra Mishra, Master’s Degree in Music (percussion) AND an ‘A’ grade artist of ‘ALL INDIA RADIO’ (AIR) and Doordarshan (T.V.) got guidance from eminent gurus like Shree Arjun Rai, Pandit Anand Gopal Bandopadhyay and Pandit Sameer Chatterjee. He represents both Banaras and Farrukkhabad Gharanas. Has conducted workshops as well as ‘Lecture Demonstrations’ covering various topics on music especially the Indian rhythm and related aspects of the art of Tabla playing. His Solo performances and Jugalbandi concerts (Including North & South Indian music with Carnatic percussionists) have been greatly admired and applauded by critics and connoisseurs. He has worked with Jazz musicians like Lewis Pragasam and Greg Lyons and also with ‘Gamelan’ (a group of musicians playing the Malaysian traditional instruments).

He has propogated India Music in Malaysia as a faculty in the Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur on deputation through ICCR where he taught this art to the people of Malaysia. Mikhail Mishtchenko - organist and musicologist. Graduated St. Petersburg Conservatoire in 1993 as an organist (Tatyana Tchausova) and musicologist (Dr. Prof. Lyudmila Kovnatskaya). Studied organ playing with Youri Semyonov (St. Petersburg)and Hans Davidsson (Gothenburg, Sweden) too.

He has a broad repertoire with special emphasis on organ music of Romanticism and Modernism. Often performs not widely known music. Gave organ recitals in Russia, Latvia, Armenia, Belorussia, Germany, Finland, US.

Performs as an accompanist and ensemble player with soloists, choirs and orchestras in St. Petersburg. He is one of few organists in St. Petersburg who plays unique instrument with complicated mechanics – the English chamber organ from 1730-s (The State Hermitage). Active as piano accompanist too.

Ph. D. Degree 1997 (thesis on the Swedish composer Wilhelm Stenhammar's music). Lecturer on history of music at St. Petersburg Coservatoire. Author of numerous published musicological writings.

Jeffrey Moellman, a native of Independence, Kentucky, is a sophomore Organ Performance major at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Todd Wilson. Beginning piano lessons at age 5, he continued his study, after three years, at the Preparatory Department of the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. Accompanying his church's choir led to an interest in the organ at a young age. Continuing throughout high school, he played for weekly masses both at church and school, and worked with his high school chorus for special occasions such as bi-yearly Latin Masses and competitions.

In August 2000, Jeffrey took on the position of Intern in Music at Cleveland's Church of the Covenant (Presbyterian, USA). In addition to his role at Church of the Covenant, he has participated in performances of Holst's The Planets with the CIM Orchestra, choral works of Benjamin Britten with the University Circle Chorale, including the cantata St. Nicholas, Vivaldi's Gloria at Fairmount Presbyterian Church and two premieres of CIM student compositions.

Before arriving in Cleveland, Jeffrey had held organist positions at Alexandria (KY) United Methodist Church as well as St. Cecilia, St. Agnes, and St. Philip Catholic Churches. Besides permanent positions, he has been highly utilized in substitute and interim roles as organist, pianist and ensemble coordinator for many local churches in the Northern Kentucky area. Aside from his work in the church, Jeffrey has performed with the Northern Kentucky Symphony Orchestra in performances of Respighi's Feste Romane and at numerous high schools in performances of a number of musicals. Additionally, Jeffrey has sung with the Chlesean Singers of Thomas More College (Crestview Hills, KY) and the Bishop's Choir of St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption (Covington, KY) under the direction of Robert J. Schaffer during the Easter and Christmas seasons, in concert and on a July 1998 tour of Canada.

Upcoming musical engagements include playing continuo in March birthday celebration performances of J. S. Bach's Cantatas 80 & 82 along with the Church of the Covenant Choir and chamber orchestra. In addition, Jeffrey will accompany the University Circle Chorale in March concert performances of various American spirituals and folk songs and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy and Elegischer Gesang (Op. 118). Additionally, Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Thomas More College (Crestview Hills, KY).
