| Kelly Penn is a graduate of Akron University. She holds a masters degree in Education and has been teaching private music lessons for 10 years. She holds affiliations with Steinway educational partnership program.
Her current achievements include finishing a technique book for piano students based entirely on the pentatonic scale as well as developing a preschool music program for piano. It is becoming the most requested program of parents for preschool children and lesson instruction on piano.

| Background. Dan Phelps is a composer and pianist based in South Wales. Dan has a Post Graduate Diploma in composition from the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as well as a BA (Hons) degree in Music from Bath Spa University College.
Multimedia. Dan has composed music for a number of professional organisations and individuals including Rubicon Dance, India Dance Wales, Elan Wales (a theatre company) and Calon TV (an animation company) amongst others. For Calon TV Dan was responsible for composing the music for one of their animation 'Trailers' "Are We There Yet" Dan continues to work very closely with two poets, Jeff Phelps and Simon Fletcher, on a collaboration project Severn Spirit. The collaboration combines the original solo piano works of Dan Phelps with the poems and stories of Jeff Phelps and Simon Fletcher. the trio performed at a sold out performance at the Bewdley Festival.
Chamber Music. Dan has been involved with numerous chamber ensembles including the Gjylaci Duo who have given a world premiere performance of his Violin and Guitar piece (Episodic Dreams) at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, as well as performing it again as part of the 'Monday Night Musicales' season organised by the Royal Northern College of Music. His Piano and Cello piece "Minimum Vs. Maximum" was premiered by Harvey Davies (piano) and Heather Bills (cello) at the Powys Hall at the University of Wales Bangor, as part of the Bangor Music Festival. This concert was co-organised by the Composers of Wales which Dan is a member of. For more information about the Composers of Wales, please visit their website at www.cc-cw.org His piece "The Empty Head" for two Clarinets and Bassoon was premiered by Ensemble Cymru. The piece was premiered in Mold, North Wales and was then played throughout Wales in a six date tour. His Viola and Piano piece "Twisted Fairground" was premiered by Philip Heyman (of Welsh National Opera) and Zoe Smith at the Wales Millennium Centre, and his piece "Stifled", for String Quartet was premiered by the Mavron Quartet at the Gate Arts Centre in Cardiff. Dan is currently working very closely with librettist Simon Rees of Welsh National Opera on a new opera piece called Hadrian At Antinooplis.
Other Work. After working at the Wales Millennium Centre leading educational music workshops for children Dan now freelances as a workshop facilitator and piano and composition tutor. Dan is part of a number of performance based projects. He is the keyboard player for New Jersey, a Bon Jovi tribute band. The band have played many gigs together including the Swansea Milkwood Jam and they have many big performances to look forward to in the future including a large scale tribute festival. Dan is also the keyboard player in a new venture 2 Rude, a Ska tribute band. The band have headlined the Swansea Beer Festival and look forward to more successes in the future. Dan works closely with the singer Dan Curtis on a number of music projects. The duo have performed together many times including a concert prior to the prestigious BAFTA Cymru Awards held at Wales Millennium Centre. They have played, amongst others, at the internationally recognised Millennium Stadium, Cafe Jazz, Aber Jazz Festival, Bute Town Jazz and Blues Festival, the Hard Rock Cafe in Cardiff, which was one of the first Jazz gigs under the Hard Rock Brand, St Giles Church in the prestigious Covent Gardens, and they have recently performed live on Cardiff Radio. The duo have received excellent feedback on their versions of classic songs and their own material. They are currently working on an album and theatre show based around their works. Dan was also a member and an associate composer of the Cardiff New Music Collective for several years. CNMC specialise in performing contemporary music to new audiences and have performed throughout Wales at venues including the Chapter Arts Centre, the Wales Millennium Centre, Canton Uniting Church, Trinity College Carmarthen, the Aberystwyth Arts Centre and Conway Methodist Church in Canton.

She has performed on national television and in venues including Baltimore’s Lyric Opera House, Boston’s Jordan Hall, and New York’s Lincoln Center. She has also performed with members of the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Bergen Symphony (Norway), the City of London Sinfonia, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the English Philharmonic, Europa Galante, the London Mozart Players, L’Orchestra des Champs Elysees, and the Metropolitan Opera.

| Born on May 17, 1976, Denis Plutalov started playing piano at the age of six. After graduating from Tambov Music School no. 1, he continued his education at the rachmaninov College in Tambov. An alumni of the Russian Gnessins Academy of Music in Moscow, Denis Plutalov inheroted the best traditions of the old Russian piano school. He was the best pupil of Prof. Maria Gambaryan (1995-1999), whose school in turn was going back to Franz Liszt through Constantin Igumnov, and Prof. Igor Nikonovich (2000-2001), pupil and son in law of legendary Vladimir Sofrnitsky. In 2002 Plutalov received an invitation to continue his graduate studies in the United States with the renowned pianist and pedagogue Prof. Eric Larsen. In 2004 Denis Plutalov received his Master of Music degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts and now receives his Professional Artist Certificate before getting into doctorate

| Dopo il debutto al teatro comunale di Imola con una performance dedicata a Max Reger nel 1997, alla sala dei concerti dell’università Innsbruck e alla sala dei concerti di Marsiglia sempre nello stesso anno, con recensioni positive da parte delle testate giornalistiche, Davide Polovineo si presenta nella scena concertistica ponendo attenzione al repertorio romantico e post-romantico tedesco maturato durante gli anni di studi accademici in Italia e in Austria conseguiti con il massimo dei voti e curati da Tiziana Cosentino, Sergio Cafaro, Felix Ayo, Fausto di Cesare, Martin Alben, Paul Badura-Skoda, George Sandor.
Contemporaneamente agli studi musicali ha affiancato gli studi umanistici a Fermo e a Padova conseguendo al Pontificio Ateneo Sant’Anselmo nella sede di Padova-Santa Giustina la licenza, e il dottorato ad honorem alla Lincoln University degli USA in psicologia del pensiero evolutivo con una tesi-dissertazione su Eric Gans e sull’estetica sacrificale.
Affianca all’attivita concertistica solistica e cameristica, anche l’attività didattica. Come docente ordinario dal 1998 al 2001 ha svolto corsi di perfezionamento e master sul pianismo schubertiano e schumanniano all’Arts Academy di Roma e all’Università di Innsbruck. Ha seguito la preparazione di molti allievi che sono risultati vincitori a concorsi nazionali e internazionali o hanno conseguito titoli accademici e diplomi nei conservatori italiani, austriaci e francesi. E’ invitato come membro di commissione in importanti concorsi nazionali e internazionali ( tra l’altro al Concorso Internazionale di esecuzione musicali F.Liszt dell’Arts Academy di Roma) e nei conservatori per esami di diploma in pianoforte. E’ stato direttore artistico del Concorso di esecuzione musicale Roma Giubileo 2000 a Villa Torlonia –Roma ed attualmente è direttore artistico del Concorso Internazionale di esecuzione musicale “Città di Teramo” giunto alla VII edizione ed organizzato dall’Istituto Europeo di Musica sede di Teramo.
Ha effettuato la registrazione nel 2003 dell’intera opera pianistica di E.Satie e in particolare degli inni dell’ordine di Rosa Croce per diverse radio ed emittenti francesi e inoltre ha pubblicato per l’editrice Vaticana uno studio comparata tra le fonti bibliche ebraiche e la religione di Zaratustra. | Violinist Hristo Popov brings a tremendous experience to the concert stage. After his orchestra debut at the age of nine he has performed in Bulgaria, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, and the United States as a recitalist and concerto soloist. He is a founding member of Trio Casalmaggiore and has been playing with them since 1998. Mr. Popov began his musical education in Bulgaria at the school for gifted children “Dobrin Petkov” in he city of Plovdiv. However, he has completed most of his education in the United States of America. He is a graduate of Idyllwild Arts Academy, Oberlin College, and Kent State University. His teachers include Todor Pelev, Michael Tseitlin, Oleh Krysa, Daniel Mason and Taras Gabora. Mr. Popov is a prizewinner at the Kozian International Violin Competition, Silver Medallist at the California Young Artist Competition, winner of the Grand Prize at the International Institute of Music (Germany, USA), first place at the American String Teachers' Association Chamber Music Competition. Mr. Popov has appeared as a guest artists in numerous festivals such as Park City International Music Festival, Plovdiv Chamber Music Festival, Sofia Summer Chamber Music Festival among others. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Summer Workshop for Strings. Mr. Popov has performed in major Performing Arts Centers in the United States such as Dorothy Chandler Pavilion - Los Angeles, Severance Hall - Cleveland, and John F. Kennedy Center - Washington D.C. Mr. Popov performs over 20 violin concerti and a wide variety of recital programs. He is as proficient in performing music from the standard repertoire as he is in performing new music. | David Price was educated at Stockport School, where he began his musical studies under Geoffrey Barber. After 'A' level examinations, he then became a full-time student at The Royal School of Church Music, studying the organ with Martindale Sidwell, choir training with Michael Brimer, singing with Robert Poole and composition with Derek Holman. In 1963 he was awarded the 'Limpus' prize in the examination for Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists, and the following year gained the Choirmaster's Diploma.
The early years of his professional career were spent back in the North of England, where he was Head of Music at Peel Moat School, Stockport, Director of the Maia Boys' Choir and Assistant Organist at St. George's church under Arthur Rooke. In 1969 he moved to East Anglia, where for twenty-four years he was Director of Music at Taverham Hall Preparatory School, Norwich, and for a period also Master of Music at the Priory and Parish Church of St. Nicholas, Great Yarmouth - the largest parish church in England! In 1993 he took early retirement in order to be able to devote more time to adjudicating and examining work, and also private teaching. He has been a Guild Advisor for the Royal School of Church Music since 1974, and in 1996 was appointed Education and Training Officer for the Norfolk and Norwich area. In the same year he was invited to become Master of Music at the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Norwich. For the first five years of its existence he was Assistant Director of the I.A.P.S. Choral Course under Ralph Allwood. An examiner for the Associated Board since 1979, he has undertaken overseas tours in Cyprus, Hong Kong (2), Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Away from music, his hobbies and interests include Contract Bridge, crossword puzzles, statistics, the Stock Market, foreign travel and cats!

| Jonathan has been studying music all his life. He began playing the piano at the age of 4 and worked his way through the grades up to Grade 8 at the age of 18. Since his eighth year he has studied the cello, double bass, drum kit and has just recently acquired an Honours Degree (Upper Division) on the electric guitar from the Guitar Institute.
Jonathan has a wealth and rare amount of experience for one still quite young, having played in everything from string quintets and orchestras to rock and funk bands including the Van Halen tribute band that he is currently involved with.
Having learnt these instruments he is now looking forward to working with Cadenza and we are delighted to welcome him as part of the team teaching Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Keyboard studies.

| Mark Ray studied piano at the Royal Norhtern College of Music, Manchester University and Salzburg Mozarteum,with Renna Kellaway and Hans Leygraf. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Britain and Europe and broadcast on BBC and Granada TV and the World Service.
In addition to performing experience, he had held a number of teaching posts, and is currently Director of Foundation Studies at Trinity College of Music, London, and a Tutor in Piano at the Royal Northern College of Music.
He is currently a member of the Banks Piano Trio and works as a freelance accompanist.
