Fabio Grasso (1969) is an italian pianist and composer, with Degrees in Piano and Composition, Doctor in Greek Literature. He won the Piano Competition XXème siècle d'Orléans and the Competitions for composers Ginastera in Buenos Aires and Journées de la jeune musique in Marseille.
He played in the most important Paris concert halls (Salle Gaveau, Salle Cortot, France Musique etc.). He recorded for SOLSTICE a CD with Busoni's Piano Music, that got the Recommendation by Repertoire and the Choc du mois by Le monde de la musique.
He collaborated with important French Orchestras, such as Philharmonique de Radio France, Philharmonique de Montpellier with Armin Jordan. Banquet de Paris for Ligeti's Klavierkonzert. His repertoire is very extended. To see it visit http://utenti.tripod.it/fabiograsso
He wrote more than 40 compositions (solo, chamber, symphonic, theatral). His pieces were performed in Berlin, Paris, Milan, Rome and Amsterdam during the Gaudeamus Music Week 1998.
