| Stephanie Marshall is a Canadian mezzo soprano, educated at McGill University, Montreal (B.Mus Distinction, Minor Anthropology) and the Royal Academy of Music in London (Dip. RAM). She won many scholarships and awards at the Royal Academy of Music and then in 2001 she won the First Prize in the Kathleen Ferrier Awards.
Her roles in opera have included the title role in Handel's Xerses, the Soloist in Twice Through the Heart by Turnage, Ritter Ramiro in Die Gartnerin aus Liebe by Mozart, Meg Page in Verdi's Falstaff, L'Enfant in L'Enfant et les sortileges (Ravel), Nancy in Albert Herring (Britten) and Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss . She has appeared in concert at a number of prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall and St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
