| | American violist, Sharon Eng, is a seasoned international strings educator, chamber recitalist, clinician and conductor. She has performed world premieres of solo viola works and has appeared as a viola soloist, chamber recitalist and guest master clinician in 11 countries on six continents.
Ms. Eng is currently director of the strings program at Jakarta International School. She completed her Bachelor and Master degrees in viola performance at the Juilliard School whee she was a five-year scholarship student of William Lincer and later, Paul Doktor.
Ms. Eng is co-founder of Classical Nuances, a unique trio comprising of piano, oboe and viola which has performed throughout Asia, Australia, and parts of North America, Europe and the Middle East.
Under her baton the Jakarta International School's flagship string orchestra, the JIS Sinfonia, has performed for thousands of listeners in Bangkok, Manila, Shanghai, Vienna and Salzburg. Please contact Sharon Eng at classical_nuances@yahoo.com
