Classical Nuances is a chamber ensemble of rare distinction. It consists of a unique combination of instruments: oboe, viola and piano. The ensemble was formed in 1995 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Today, the group meets and performs regularly worldwide.
Recent performances have taken the ensemble on tours to Australia, the United States, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Classical Nuances has attracted the attention of a number of composers whom have written works for this ensemble.
The group consists of Soun-Youn Yoon, oboe (Korea); Sharon Eng, viola (U.S.A.) and Ary Sutedja, piano (Indonesia). Ms. Yoon, a graduate of Seoul National University is a distinguished Associate of the Royal College of Music in London.
Ms. Eng holds two performance degrees from the Juilliard School (BM, MM); and Ms. Sutedja, who took her masters in piano at Towson University, also holds a postgraduate diploma from St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music in Russia. Contact Classical Nuances at the addresses above.
